To add a file:

1. click on button "Add a file" (in the user bar)
2. select the file you want to add, set his properties (name, order, ...)
3. click on button "save modifications"

Files are hidden by default, this is because we assume that files are usually used as ressources either by a text or by a plugin (bolino) . For example images are typically used within texts or by the images collection plugin.

To add a text:

1. click on button
2. type your text
3. click on button "save modifications"

Texts are displayed by default but can be embedded within other texts or used by a plugin. In those cases you may want to ensure that they are not displayed twice: by them self and by the parent text or the plugin. For example the "texts collection" plugin displays a set of texts which were selected either manualy or using a predefined filter.
Texts can embed every type of content (text, file or plugin), which allows you to set up your page as desired.

To add a plugin:

1. click on button
2. select from the list, the plugin you want to add.
3. click "save modifications" button
4. Set up basics content proporties (name order, ...) and specific plugin properties.
5. click on "save modifications" button

There is more than 80 plugins for:

• page set up: contents collection, background, footer, html embedded, images collection, page skin, dicom viewer, ...
• communication: mailbox, forum, forms, ...
• interactivity: agenda, planning, document workflow ...
• data: biblio, data manager, synpad / palm manager, medical specialised data ACR, ICD10, ...
• navigation: menu, site plan and auto navigation, search engine , ...
• games (tic tac toe, naval battle, ...)
• administrations: users accounts, groups, sessions, pages, permissions, users registrations, connexion, scripts embedding, ... not allowed from public account.

To edit a content you must switch to "edit in page" mode. For this purpose, click on "edit in page" button

In "edit in page" mode, move your mouse over the content you want to edit. Once over, the content is hightligthed and buttons appears which allow you (regards to permissions) to move it up or down, delete it or edit it using

For examples public visitor (you) have no permissions to edit those contents.

To add a sub-page you must open the "page properties", clicking button

In the "properties page" window, click on "sub pages" tab to display sub-pages list. Click on link add a sub-page.

In "page properties" you can set up:

1. page properties (name, browser title, zones ...) in the different languages.
2. page permission if you have the permission to define rights
3. contents: hidden, cleared or displayed contents of the page can be access fom this tab. By default only "main zone" contents are listed but you can either select: all zone or a specific one.

You can also access to page tools (regards to permissions) that allow you:

• to copy / move / rename page
• manage archive and restore
• create static version (CD version of page and subpages)
• manage BolinOS features (cache, db clearing, html versioning)
• manage low level (ftp) permissions
